Yes I am huge fan of feeling rested!
I have recently learned about sleep inertia as well which is that groggy state you sometimes wake up in. Even after 7 or 8 hours I wonder why I wake up feeling tired.
Apparently that feeling is not tiredness (well, sometimes it is) but it is this sleep inertia. And the only cure to not feel sleep inertia tired, is to wake up!
Knowing this has really helped me to not snooze for longer and push through to get up and going.
